Last Year, 2014, a project was created here in Barra do Choça, it is called “Eco Teens”. This project aims to teach the teens and children the value of preservation, the value of keeping the world as natural. For now, the responsible school is João Batista Figueiredo Municipal School, and its theme is deforestation, but focusing on eucalyptus, this is very problematic, because it absorbs the water from the earth.
And actually, the main goal of the project of this year is to teach the students how the world works, when the first eucalyptus tree as planted here in Brazil, And the problems the deforestation may cause.
